About Me

Jaylin Knight, an Certified Fertility Mindset & Neuroscience Coach.
Helping women succeed at IVF with science-backed mind-body support

For more than 20 years, I’ve guided women through major transformations in their health, fitness, and lives.

Today, I focus on supporting women in IVF – helping them harness the power of their mind to improve their chances of success and transform one of the hardest challenges they’ll ever face with more ease and confidence.

I live in San Diego with my husband, Angel—the love of my life and my true partner.

Our home is full of laughter, game nights, dance lessons, trivia and playful debates over cheesy reality TV shows.

That joy and lightness are part of who we are, and they’re the same energy I bring to my work with every client.

Choosing Motherhood in My 40s

One night, we were flipping through The Book of Questions just for fun.

We were asking each other these deep, random questions, and one of them was: How would you feel if you found out I was pregnant?

Without hesitating, he said, I’d be happy.

I remember looking at him, completely surprised.

That one question led to conversations that changed the course of our lives. And within a few weeks, even though we were both in our 40s already, we knew we wanted to have a baby together.

When IVF Took Over

We spent two and a half years trying naturally before moving on to IVF at 46 with donor eggs.

I thought I was prepared. I’d been meditating and journaling for years. I knew how to work with my thoughts. But IVF has a way of shaking you in ways you don’t expect.

Our first cycle ended with two failed transfers. After months of medication, injections, and hope, everything seemed to collapse overnight. What surprised me most wasn’t just the outcome—it was how dark my mind became. Beneath all my mindfulness, I was carrying fear, grief, and pressure I hadn’t even realized was there.

And beneath the disappointment was something deeper: the fear that maybe I had waited too long, that I should have figured it out when I was younger, or worse—that motherhood might not happen for me at all. I blamed myself for not trying sooner, and that blame cut deeper than the shots or the procedures ever could.

Angel was the one who steadied me. He reminded me that we had options, that this wasn’t the end, and that we were still meant to be parents. I leaned into his belief until I could build my own.

Discovering the Missing Piece in IVF Success

After that cycle, I found Dr. Alice Domar’s research on mind-body programs in fertility. The data was clear: these programs reduced distress and improved pregnancy outcomes.

For me, it was confirmation. Mindset wasn’t just helpful—it was essential. And it showed me what I had missed: even with years of meditation and journaling, I was suffering more than I had admitted.

So I began using my tools differently. I developed a mindset practice to rewire limiting thought patterns and change the way I was thinking and feeling, to lower the stress in my body and create a more fertile environment for pregnancy.

Rebuilding With a New Belief

Our second cycle ended in two early losses. The grief was real, but this time I responded differently.

Working with a mindset coach for additional support, I uncovered blind spots, rewired old thought patterns, and let go of timelines.

I stopped making every setback mean something was wrong with me. Instead, I anchored into one belief that grew stronger each day:

My baby is coming at the exact right time.

That belief didn’t appear overnight. I built it, practiced it, and repeated it until it became unshakable. It’s what carried me through setbacks without self-blame, through waiting without spiraling, and through each new step with calm and strength.

Why I’m a Fertility Mindset Coach

IVF isn’t only about doctors and protocols. It’s the 2 a.m. thoughts, the moments you feel like you can’t take another piece of bad news, the way hope and fear wrestle inside you every day.

That’s why I coach. To give women a way to move through IVF without losing themselves—to feel calmer in the waiting, stronger in the setbacks, and with more belief and confidence in their future family.

IVF will test you in ways you never expected. I know—because I’ve lived it. But you don’t have to go through it feeling lost, isolated, or consumed.

I coach women to meet IVF differently—with clarity, with strength, and with an unshakable belief that carries them forward.

Your baby is coming at the exact right time.
